New Ministerial Appointments

Say hello to our new Ministerial appointments to our District.

Welcome services have been taking place over the last few weeks and we are delighted they have joined us.

Probationer Deacon Emily Hoe-Crook joins The Crossing in the Trinity Circuit following her training at Queens College in Birmingham.

Probationer Presbyter Revd. Michelle Deans joins Hillsborough Trinity, Wisewood and Brightholmlee in the Sheffield Circuit.

Deacon Annabel Terry will be based at Gleadless Valley in the Sheffield Circuit with a remit to work on social justice following her time in the Darlington District.

Dr Revd. Claude Kimpinde joins Millhouses, Woodseats, Carterknowle and Mount View in the Sheffield Circuit following his time in the Methodist Conference in Southern Africa.

Deacon Jackie Wright joins Victoria Hall in the Sheffield Circuit following her time in the Newcastle Upon Tyne District.

District Chair, Gill Newton said: "Every year we enter Stationing not knowing who will join us in the District at the end, but we put our trust and faith in God and allow the Holy Spirit to put the right people on the right places.

"We are delighted with the appointments this year as they bring with them a wealth of experience and a fresh outlook on what is possible. I am excited to see what happens within the District over this Connexional year and beyond."
