First Eclipse Party Grant

We have awarded our first £500 Eclipse Party grant to Emmanuel, part of Barnsley North West multisite church.

The event will include a range of craft activities for all ages, themed around light and the impact it has on our lives, plus sunrise mocktails and hotdogs.

Alison Padgett from the church said, “The Eclipse is going to be special event, and for some a once in a lifetime, so we want to be able to bring the local community together to enjoy it. We are looking to create suncatchers and clay models with people who come along and there will be plenty of food to share too.”

In the run up to the event, Emmanual are holding a weekly time of prayer for the party before their Sunday morning worship.
