Ministerial Development Review

The role of District Ministerial Development Review (MDR) Officer is to be the reference point for all matters related to MDR within the Sheffield Methodist District.

They are responsible for:

• Briefing Ministers and Lay Contributors on the MDR Process
• Being available to give advice and assistance as appropriate.
• Sending a reminder to all Ministers that CPD requires all Presbyter or Deacon in circuit or district appointment and every Supernumerary who has entered into a formal agreement with a Circuit to undertake pastoral responsibility in one or more Local Churches is required to engage in MDR.
• Reporting to the District Chair any problems/issues.
