GDPR Annual checklist – Reporting

The checklist drafted by TMCP summarises the practical steps that all Local Churches, Circuits and Districts must take to ensure their data protection practices are robust. The full background to the checklist can be found on the TMCP website here: Annual Check List

To simplify the reporting process an online form has been developed. which will automatically update both the Sheffield District Data Champion and TMCP as the Data Controllers.

User Guide to the GDPR online form

The form will look different from previous years, as TMCP are using Microsoft Forms. Please take care when filling the form in, as you will not be able to edit it later.
The form should be completed on behalf of the Managing Trustee body (ie Church Council, Circuit Meeting). Individual churches/worshipping communities which are part of a multi-site body do not need to complete this. Please get in touch if your Church Council is not listed in the drop-down menu.

• All required fields are marked with a red asterisk.

• If you are a Methodist Church, you will be following Methodist Data Protection Procedures and therefore are not independently registered with the ICO

• Each church and circuit managing trustee body needs to submit this form to show that they are complying with the TMCP requirements. This include LEPs which are following other procedures.

• The deadline for completion is 31 May.
