A group of young people from the Sheffield Circuit led a service at Carterknowle Methodist Church.
Young people from Carterknowle, Wesley Hall, Hatfield House Lane and Chapeltown teamed up to led the service with the theme of "God is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever"
As part of the service three young people shared stories and testimonies of how they'd seen God at work in their past, in their present and how they'd like to see God at work in their futures.
The congregation where then inspired to join in and discuss where they'd seen God at work too.
Vic Loveday, District Children and Youth Co-ordinator said: "It's exciting we have young people wanting to take an active roll in leading services and worship in our churches. In Sheffield the young people made decisions on the theme, how they'd like to deliver their messages and they did a great job at getting the congregation to join in too."
Growing disciples is part our mission strategy so if you'd like help and support with getting young people more involved in your church or if they are interested in leading worship please email Vic on cy@sheffieldmethodist.org
