Welcome to the District

At the District Induction we welcomed 11 new people to work in our District.

• Superintendent Revd Romeo Pedro joins the Sheffield Circuit
• Revd Jeff Conklin-Miller joins the teaching staff at Cliff College
• Revd Mike Jones joins the Sheffield Circuit
• Revd Philip Peacock joins the Sheffield Circuit
• Tina Aluri joins the Peak Circuit as Operations Manager
• Revd Kim Mason (Anglican) joins the Sheffield Circuit
• Grace Perkins joins the Rotherham and Dearne Valley Circuit as Children and Families Worker
• Peter White joins the Barnsley Circuit as Community Link Worker
• Sean Worsley joins the Doncaster Circuit as a Lay Pastor
• Revd Tracey Morris (Anglican) joins the Sheffield Circuit

People joined in person and via Zoom to hear about the work of the District and also how their roles are an integral part of the Methodist Church in South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North East Derbyshire.

District Chair Gill Newton, said: “We are delighted to welcome new faces to our District and to celebrate the positive contribution they are already making since starting their new roles.“Induction day allows people who are new to the District or new in their roles to find out what it means to be part of the Sheffield District and to meet many key staff and officers alongside whom they will serve.”
