A message from the Pastoral Secretary at a Methodist Church in Cheltenham:
I have been asked by a young acquaintance from India about finding accommodation in Sheffield. Jennifer is coming to Britain with her husband Jayam who will be pursuing his studies (Masters in Electrical Engineering) in Sheffield Hallam University and his academic year will start from 9th Jan, 2023.Jennifer came to our Church in Cheltenham a few years ago when she was working here and she soon became part of our Church family. She returned to India and then married Jayam last year. She says, "We understood that student accommodation given by University is only meant for students and not their spouse. We need your help in finding accomodation in Sheffield through your contacts or through the Methodist Church members in the Sheffield. Requesting you to please help us if it is possible as it would be better if we have our house booked before we land in the UK. We are okay with a small house which can be a independent house or a flat in an apartment. We are looking for a furnished house as it would be convenient for us and we are looking for a budget friendly rental house."
Please contact Rev Judith Jessop with any offers of help. (Tel: 0114 2313518, e: judithjessop@tiscali.co.uk)
