World Methodist Peace Award

There will be a service of commendation and celebration for Reverend Dr. Inderjit Bhogal as he receives the Council's prestigious Peace Award. The ceremony will be held at Victoria Hall, Norfolk Street, Sheffield, S1 2JB, on Friday 18th March, 2022 at 17.00.
Refreshments will be provided following the ceremony.

Dr. Bhogal is receiving this award for his tireless work and effort in support of peacemaking through challenging war and violence. He has championed the rights of refugees working alongside multi-ethnic and inter-religious communities. One of his major achievements is the establishment of the Cities of Sanctuary network and movement which took root in his own city of Sheffield, and has now been taken up by many towns, cities and institutions.
It is with great pleasure after two years of disruption from the global pandemic that this award can formally be presented to Dr. Bhogal in the presence of his family, friends, colleagues and associates.

MWiB – Easter Offering

It would be great if churches would consider ordering Easter Offering Envelopes and Order of Service Sheets to support World Mission. Yes it's that time again. So please consider holding a service at your church. In 2019 £370,000 was raised. Covid has meant that the same support was not achieved in the past 2years. With so much happening around the world its more important than ever that we support World Mission.
