A Prayer for Sunday 17th January

Loving God, in these days when fear and uncertainty continue to encircle us, we thank you for the reassurance of your knowledge of us and your love for us.

You created us and breathed life into us; you filled us with potential and long for us to fulfil it; you have plans for us to discover.

May our ears be alert to your voice, our eyes be open to the path you stretch ahead of us and our hearts be renewed with hope as we focus our attention on you, our Creator and our Saviour.

Amen.
