The Rotherham and Dearne Valley Methodist Circuit seeks to employ a self-motivated, methodical, and highly organised Circuit Administrator to provide administrative support, maintain accurate records, and assist the Superintendent Minister

Key areas of work

General Administration: Manage the day-to-day office operations, handling internal and external enquiries, ordering supplies, and maintaining up-to-date Circuit records and directory information.
Communication: Ensure Connexional updates are shared, be accountable for local publicity and for District newsletter topics submissions.
Safeguarding: Support the Circuit safeguarding team by maintaining records and managing DBS checks.
Worship and Preaching Plan: Coordinate Local Preacher and Minister availability and produce, print, and distribute the quarterly Circuit preaching plan and covering documentation.
Finance: Work alongside and support the Circuit Treasurer as appropriate.
Data Protection and Governance: Serve as the designated Circuit GDPR Officer, helping local churches maintain compliant data records and complete annual data audits.
Annual Returns and Membership Records: Submit annual returns to the Charity Commission and appropriate Methodist online portals, while keeping accurate membership registers for our churches.

Contract type: part-time, permanent contract
Working hours: 12hours per week.
Location: Broom Methodist Church, Rotherham, S60 3NR
Rate of pay: £13.45 per hour
