A pilgrimage isn't fast paced. It is fuelled by prayer and reflection and takes us to a place of greater understanding of ourselves, how we connect with people, places and with God.
In this session we learnt how one circuit developed a pilgrimage using rural churches; shared the new Try-Pilgrimage website, a partnership between Hope International and the Methodist Church; and heard one person's story of their own internal pilgrimage.
The website can be explored here: https://trypilgrimage.org.uk/
You can read a version of James' story via his blog here: https://jamesballantyne.blog/2024/11/10/how-richard-rohr-saved-my-life/
