'All Shall be Well?' Life, Suffering and the Love of God with Julian of Norwich
The day on 10 March will draw upon the writings of Julian of Norwich to reflect on life, suffering and the love of God. Julian lived in the 14th Century at a time when the black death was decimating the population of Britain and Europe. Her 'Revelations of Divine Love' was the first book by a woman in English and shows her spiritual grappling with suffering, sin and the love of God. She provides much food for reflection and prayer on the loving presence of God that is relevant to Lent and a world living with Covid-19.
