Information on what's being offered…

Introduction

This page sets out, in date order, a wide range of learning opportunities available in the Sheffield Methodist District in 2007/8. The District Training and Development Enabling Group is extremely grateful to all those who are leading sessions, most of them in a voluntary capacity. Thanks also to our Anglican colleagues for sharing their events with us. If any of the learning opportunities listed here appeal to others outside the Methodist or Anglican churches, you are very welcome to book in.

Bookings and information

To help leaders in their planning and in some instances catering arrangements you are asked to book for the events. Please let us know if you have any additional needs, for example a wheelchair user, that we should be made aware of. Unless otherwise stated the District Office is the main point of contact for information and bookings. As well phoning the District Office (0114 281 2733) or email admin@sheffieldmethodist.org

Other Opportunities

We are able to offer a range of other opportunities, including various courses on work with children and young people, and church stewards training. The District Safeguarding Group is available for training and responds to requests for training through Caroline Riley. Please contact the District Office to discuss any of these possibilities.
