Prayer Diary Introduction page

"The Scriptures say that the Messiah must suffer, then three days later he will rise from death. They also say that all people of every nation must be told in my name to turn to God, in order to be forgiven." (Luke 24:46, 47)

We praise you Lord that your salvation is for the whole world. Your love knows no boundaries. Give us the grace and courage in order to play a part in reaching people everywhere with the good news of your salvation plan. In Jesus's name. Amen. .

World Missions.

Give thanks for:

All those who have answered the call to serve God away from their own country.
The work of organisations such as Bible Society, striving to ensure that the Bible is available in every language.
The people who first brought the good news to the place where we live.

Please pray for:

All those who are working in overseas situations.
Those working on further Bible translation.
Christians who have been displaced as refugees or as asylum seekers.
Those who are persecuted because of their Christian Belief.

Lord we look forward to the day when the whole world will have heard the good news of your salvation. We pray for those who suffer for their faith, make them strong and keep us faithful in our prayers for them. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
