Prayer Diary Introduction page

"Finally, let the mighty strength of the Lord make you strong. Put on all the armour that God gives, so you can defend yourself against the devil's tricks."(Ephesians 6:10, 11)

Thank you Lord that it is in your strength and not our own that we are called to fight for you where we live. Help us to remember this when we face the challenge of day to day life in the place where you have called us to live. We ask this in Jesus's name. Amen.

Your own neighbourhood

Give thanks for:

The opportunities for witness to your Christian Faith. The times when you can simply be the 'listening ear'
The times when you can simply be the 'listening ear'
Other Christians living in similar circumstances.

Please pray for:

Your neighbours
Those whose life-style is different to yours.
The unemployed.
Those with alcohol/drug addiction
Those who find it difficult to cope with day to day life.
Those who are unable to cope easily with change

Thank you Lord that your love extends to all. Help us to be like a clear mirror, reflecting your love to all those we see day by day. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask this. Amen.
