"God blesses those people who refuse evil advice and won't follow sinners or join in sneering at God. Instead, the Law of the Lord makes then happy, and they think about it day and night." (Psalm 1:1, 2)

Thank you for your many blessings to us O Lord. Thank you for the privilege of being able to freely read the Bible. Help us never to take its message for granted, but to allow you to speak to us through its pages day by day. Amen.

Your Local Church and Circuit

Give thanks for:

The support and witness of your Church and Circuit.
Relationships with churches of other denominations in your local area.
Opportunities of joint witness and co-operation at a local level.

Please pray for:

All people who have any connection with your local church.
Outreach to local groups such as children, young people, the elderly, those from other cultural backgrounds.
All other local churches.
Fellow Christians living in the same street but worshipping away from the locality

Lord, in our diversity of forms and styles of worship, may our witness to your power and love be consistent to all we meet. Give us the strength to be enthusiastic about our relationship with you, and your love for us. We ask this in the name of Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
