Thank you Lord for all your many promises, more than we can count. Help us to show our gratitude to you, and your love to others day by day, throughout our lives. Amen.

The loyal service of those who day by day give faithful witness to God's work in their lives.
The work amongst refugees and asylum seekers.

Please pray for:

Miners in the Selby area, and all others who have lost, or are threatened with the loss of, their employment. May they be guided by you into fresh employment and, in so doing, be able to maintain their self-esteem.
That a true Christian witness may be maintained in the rural areas of this District

Almighty God, we thank you for your continuing promise to be with us. As we travel through change and challenge, help us to see possibilities that you are present and may we be strengthened by your holy presence. Amen
