God, as we respond to your love thus choosing life and faith, make us gossips of the Gospel. Help us to share the good news with those who are downcast; to speak words of comfort to those who are broken hearted; to give freedom to those who are oppressed; reminding all who despair of this world that you choosing to come in the name of love gives to us the gift of life - full life in God's Spirit. Amen.

Those ordained and lay who faithfully serve our District.
The appointment of a new County Ecumenical Development Officer, the Rev Dr Clive Barrett to work on behalf of the West Yorkshire Ecumenical Council.

Please pray for:

'Touring West Yorkshire', our strategic initiative led by our Mission Enabling Team.
The process of stationing, seeking new presbyters and we pray for all involved in the process, for discernment, sensitivity and oneness in the Spirit.
The new "2 Team" structure of our District and the members of the Strategy Team and the Management Team who will work to implement the recommendations of the District Review

Calling God, show us what you want us to be and do in your name. Fill us with your Spirit of love and power, that we may be equipped to serve you with faithfulness, joy and enthusiasm all the days of our life. Amen. (Prayers for Times and Seasons. WYS Books)
