Prayer Diary Introduction page

"Now you have been set free from sin, and you are God's slaves. This will make you holy and will lead you to eternal life." (Romans 6:22)

Thank you Lord that we are your slaves, with the security, but also the responsibility that this brings. Help us to take seriously all that you have done for us and help us to accept willingly all that you want us to do. In Jesus' name we ask this. Amen.

New initiatives in mission being taken across the District.
"Little Fishers" children's work being developed in several Circuits.
The growing trust between Faith and Community leaders.
The work of Greater Manchester Industrial Mission.
The rich variety of Chaplaincy work in the District.

Please pray for:

The District Mapping Exercise as we review the life and mission of every Church and Circuit in the District.
Our new District Mission Enabler - Rev Pete Shepherd
The new ecumenical Fresh Expression Reference Group.
Our new District Council and Strategy and Resource Executive.

Loving God, help us to be open to the surprises of your grace; faithful to the priorities of your Kingdom; hospitable in our witness and service; and always mindful of your generous love and our need for renewal. Amen.
