Lord - Make us channels of your peace and your love that we may all experience life in all its fullness. Amen.

Barnsley Circuit (25/15): Superintendent Minister - Rev Pam Butler

Serving most of the Borough of Barnsley and part of West Yorkshire, south of Wakefield. An area that has certainly felt the impact of the closure of the mines, but is now engaging in urban regeneration and much effort is being put into the revitalisation of the Town Centre. It is a Town made up of many smaller communities some of which are more rural in nature and developing as commuter areas. Parts of the circuit have been significantly affected by recent floods.

Give thanks for:

The dedication and commitment of so many to the work of this circuit.
For new shoots of ecumenical engagement in the community

Please pray for congregations as they:

New probationers Jon Bellfield and Andy Day, Deacon Janet Thomas and Rev Louise Dawson as they begin work in this circuit.
For our endeavours to cluster churches together to give energy for mission.
For the acceptance and celebration of diversity in out worship.
For wisdom in the management of Resources.

Living God, breathe your Holy Spirit into the lives of your people. Lead us in your way and equip us by your Spirit. Give us the courage to put our trust in you all the days of our lives. . Amen.
