"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works in all of them in all people." (1 Corinthians 12:4-6)

Lord Jesus, as we seek to declare your love and purpose, thank you that in challenge you are our vision and encouragement, in uncertainty our hope and in weakness our strength. Amen.

Doncaster Circuit (25/14): Superintendent Minister - Rev Christine Hawk e

A spread circuit, of larger and smaller congregations, serving the town of Doncaster, its suburbs, surrounding former mining villages, small towns and part of north Nottinghamshire. A real mix of affluence and deprivation presents a challenge for Christian presence and service. Four prisons are located in the circuit and are served by Methodist chaplains.

Give thanks for:

Optimism in working through change
New contacts with families and young people
All who serve local church and circuit.

Please pray for:

Confidence in personal evangelism
Boldness in use of circuit resources
Openness to identify and take up new opportunities
A growing sense of togetherness across the circuit

Lord Jesus, we pray that your church, its people and buildings, may be the welcome of your kingdom. Amen.
