"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." (Ephesians 3:20-21)

Lord, when we follow you our life takes on a new journey. Help us as we journey to open our eyes and enjoy the walk with You. Help us to relate to others along our path with grace and love. Help us to enjoy this journey of faith, to appreciate each step, and to keep holding your hand. Amen.

Chesterfield Circuit (25/10): Superintendent Minister - Rev Gordon Webb

Eleven rural and suburban churches come together to celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of our Christian faith in Chesterfield. We worship in a variety of styles, old and new with a willingness to journey in faith together. We explore outreach with 'Olive Branch' and Corner Stone Café, and have just started to explore contemporary worship with WOW (worship on weekdays). We are blessed with a good number of lay preachers and supernumerary ministers and deacons also enhance our ministerial role in this market town.

Faithful God, guide us, hold us, renew us, energise us and excite us as we journey together in serving you and our community. Help us to be humble and to show compassion as Jesus did to your people. To bring healing where there is hurt, hope where there is injustice and life where there is darkness. Help us to remain faithful to you. Amen
