Sheffield Ecclesall (25/4): Superintendent Minister - Rev Rodney Hill

This compact circuit covers the south western part of the city of Sheffield and includes the village of Dore. It comprises 8 relatively large Churches in a variety of urban, suburban and village settings.

Give thanks for:

A dedicated and gifted leadership team of circuit stewards and ministers, with a real willingness to work together and to think creatively.
The team of ministers, Nicola Price-Tebbutt, Rachel Downs-Lewis Robert Lewis and others who are working to develop a 'Fresh Expression' of Church - UltraViolet.
The four student youth workers (Seb, Bruce, Hannah and Cherry) who will be with us this year working in almost all of our circuit churches and for Judith Roberts, the project manager.
The Circuit review, which is beginning to face up to some bug issues in imaginative and risky ways.

Please pray for:

The guidance of the Holy Spirit as we seek to discern new ways of working in Broomhall.
The development of ministry amongst young adults.
Growing partnerships with other Churches, both in Sheffield and elsewhere in the World Church, especially in Africa.

Now to him, who is able through the power which is at work among us to do immeasurably more than we can ask or conceive, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus, from generation to generation for evermore. Amen!
