"The Spirit of the God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life" (Job 33:4 [NRSV])

Lord God, you have made each of us in your love and for your glory. Breathe into us the Spirit of your healing and your power, that we might be transformed and enabled to do your will, through Jesus Christ our lord. Amen (TJB)

Sheffield West Circuit (25/1)): Superintendent Minister - Rev Timothy Bradshaw

We are a diverse Circuit of thirteen churches (one a four-way ecumenical partnership) covering an area from the inner city to the Peak District. We also have strong links with Sheffield University through a part-time chaplaincy.

Give thanks for:

The continuing flow of people offering to train as Local Preachers (three more this year).
The developing alternative patterns of worship being offered in the Circuit.
The faithfulness of those in the smaller churches in the Circuit.

Please pray for:

The Circuit Review as it attempts to find radical solutions to ministry in this part of the city.
The smaller congregations at Dungworth, Hollow meadows and Rivelin Glen.
The continuing contact with children and young people in local schools and with the student population..

Lord our God, your love and your purposes for us exceed our imagination. Grant us both the vision and the determination to follow you down new and different paths, and to travel in such a way that others may perceive your glory at work in us, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen (TJB)
