The Sheffield District is one of 32 Districts of the Methodist Church in Great Britain.
The Sheffield District of the Methodist Church exists to support and enable the work of the Churches and Circuits in the District.

- encourage fresh ways of being Church

- support community development and action for justice
- encourage Church & Circuit reviews
- encourage learning and development
- build partnerships with others
- act in ways that contribute to the care of the earth
- encourage Circuit cross-border cooperation
- explore and nurture spirituality.
