Godly Play 3 days of core training on 13th October, 20th October and 17th November

This may be the last ‘non accredited’ training that Kate and I will run as Kate is hoping to train as a trainer in the near future (and so with 2 accredited trainers any future courses will be accredited and advertised on the Godly Play website at the ‘normal’ price). A Day with the Saints – an accredited enrichment module

Cost: £30 to include refreshments and a lunch

For people who have completed the 3 day course or who have had significant experience of Godly Play with children.

  • A day of going deeper with Godly Play
  • An overview and introduction to the Saints stories
  • Enjoy learning and sharing some of the stories
  • Opportunity for personal response time
  • A chance to reflect on childhood spirituality and what ‘work’ is being done in the Saints stories
  • Ideas for resources

Nurturing children’s spirituality in schools – challenges and opportunities – run by the International Association of Children’s spirituality

This day event will take place on Saturday 4th October 2014 at Woodbrooke Study and retreat centre in Birmingham from 10 am to 4 pm. The centre is easily accessible from the city, which also has excellent rail connections from most parts of the country.A few of us will be travelling from Sheffield if you want to join us.
The theme is ‘Nurturing children’s spirituality in schools – challenges and opportunities’. The day will include presentations and round table discussions.
The day costs £25 for members and £30 for non-members. The fee includes refreshments and lunch.
All teachers, governors, researchers, parents and carers as well as anyone else interested in children’s spirituality are welcome to attend.
